We cater to the highly sensitive, neurodivergent folks, however we believe this can include anyone with a curiosity—whether for creative practices that support healing, learning new art skills, finding community, or trying something new. We welcome a beginner’s mind and embrace it as an asset!
This project began alongside folks with intellectual disabilities in an art class, and we want to extend a warm welcome to all people with disabilities to join our offerings and events. If you have specific support needs or accessibility concerns, please contact us to see how we can best accommodate you.

Currently, we are 18+ due to space limitations. However, we hope to offer events for kids and youth in the future, so stay tuned!
Additionally, Sara offers nature- and play-based services for children at another clinic—please reach out for more information.

That’s perfect! Our offerings are designed for all experience levels. Low skill is the foundation—there’s no pressure to create something "good," just to explore and express.

We aim to create spaces that cater to high sensitivy, and those with sensory and social differences. However, we don’t have a permanent home, so accessibility varies depending on the event. If you have specific accessibility needs, please reach out, and we will do our best to accommodate, though we cannot guarantee access at all locations.

We are prepared for rain-or-shine gatherings. However, in extreme weather where safety is a concern, we will pivot to another space or reschedule.

We greatly appreciate art supplies and materials. We also welcome collaboration, including spaces to host events. In the future, we plan to introduce additional ways to support the growth and accessibility of Scatterhouse Studio, but we aren’t quite ready for that yet.

Makers Club: A welcoming space to explore your creativity and try new mediums at your own pace.
Process-Based Art Workshops: Guided sessions focused on the joy of making, while learning new skills or crafts, without pressure for perfection.
Expressive Arts Therapy Experiences: Individual or group sessions for deeper emotional exploration and healing.
Outdoor Nature Based Sessions: Therapeutic walks to slow down and take good care.
Group Exhibits: Opportunities to display your work in a supportive community setting.
Open Studio: Studio Artist members can do drop in to our online open studio times to work on their own projects within community.

We ensure that your privacy is protected and that our spaces remain safe and supportive for all participants. If you have specific concerns about confidentiality, please feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to address them.

Informed consent means that you have all the information you need to make decisions about your participation. Before engaging in any sessions or activities, we’ll clearly explain what to expect, including the goals, potential risks, and your rights as a participant. You are always in control of your involvement and can withdraw at any time without pressure or judgment.

We do not issue refunds with less than 48hrs notice; but you may use your payment as a credit within 30 days toward another event or experience. Tickets are also transferable.
As a neurodivergent community, we understand the challenges that may arise. In special circumstances, we may accommodate missed sessions on a case-by-case basis.
